I am not in agreement with CurT@!n$ on his schools v/s gangs argument, I find it misleading at best and I personally know a lot o people that were able to rise up and be great individuals because of education and on the other hand most of the people that I know who were involved with gangs are either dead or in jail.

I already called this song the best song to come out this year and you might agree or choose to disagree but for me personally CurT@!n$ came through in a major way and addressed issues that Hip Hop seem to be tippy toeing around as of late. Hip Hop is a voice of the disenfranchised and the voiceless and using this voice in a positive manner can only result in the improvement of our daily lives. Yeah I’m ranting again SO WHAT, I’d rather rant than be voiceless.

My Random Thoughts…

It’s 23H55 in Johannesburg and I have been up since 05H30 so before I go rest my bones I wanna get a few things off my chest well at least one thing. What’s the deal with these ‘new media’ departments at record labels, pr agencies, artists’ managers and other industry folks that are quick to send bloggers press releases and all types on nonsense that they expect us to post but are not so quick to return favors when they are asked for a fabor or two. So I’m going to set the record straight as to how thing will work from now on; No I will not post your shit just so your artist gets publicity because you are dangling an mp3 file (I will rather jack a link elsewhere if I want to post the dam thing) unless you are genuinely interested in building a solid work relationship that is mutually beneficial to both parties otherwise don’t send me shit and I will not ask for any in return.

Let’s squash all egos and work together and most importantly, get Back To Hip Hop.
